'Crazy' - Fans react to Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold's display for England
Liverpool fans are delighted Trent Alexander-Arnold shone for England in the hybrid role that he has made his own for his club over the last six months.
Football Insider has been gather the reaction of supporters following Alexander-Arnold’s impressive performance against Australia on Friday night (13 October).
A right-back by trade, the 25-year-old has been used in midfield under Jurgen Klopp when his side are in possession in games and he took up a similar hybrid role for England in the 1-0 win over Australia on Friday.
As seen in footage shared by the national team, Alexander-Arnold helped set up the opener from Ollie Watkins that would prove to be the winning goal.
The Reds defender delivered an outstanding long cross while on the run and with his back to goal – Jack Grealish seized on it in the box to set up Watkins to tap in the game’s only goal.
Fans have been reacting to his role in the goal and his overall performance for the Three Lions.
