'Big agenda', 'Corrupt' - Liverpool and Man City fans react to police ban

Liverpool fans are furious their game against Man City has been moved to a 12.30pm kick-off straight after the international break.

Football Insider has been gathering the opinions of fans on both sides of the fixture.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the game at the Etihad has been banned from kicking off at 5.30pm amid concerns over fan trouble.

City welcome Liverpool in the first weekend of fixtures after November’s international break and whilst the clash was initially due to be played in the evening, police are not expected to give permission for it to take place at that time.

The new slot for the fixture will mark the third time this season that Jurgen Klopp’s side has been in the early kick-off slot straight after the international break and the 14th occasion since the German took charge.

Liverpool fans have been sharing their frustration about the change.

Another was also worried about the “agenda” against Liverpool but also the impact on fans:

City fans were less outraged by the change in kick off time, but one supporter also shared concerns for the fans who had planned on going to or watching the match:

But another was pleased by the news and acknowledged that the new kick off time will have a negative impact on the Reds:
