Leeds United fans have reacted to the “daylight robbery” sale of Finley Gorman to Man City.
The 15-year-old has agreed the terms of a transfer to the Premier League champions for a fee worth potentially £5million including add-ons, which will break the British transfer record for a player of his age.
Gorman was seen as one of the Whites’ best young prospects after his exceptional performances in their youth sides and for having made his England under-16 debut this season while he was still 14.
The club are reportedly unhappy that Gorman has taken the leap from the Championship to the Premier League and attempted to keep him on the books but the allure of a move to the Champions League holders proved too much.
