Sources: Tottenham to reject Richarlison offer ahead of January

Tottenham are not considering selling striker Richarlison in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The 26-year-old is reportedly a top target for the Saudi Pro League despite his poor recent form for Spurs.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Richarlison’s Tottenham move “hasn’t worked out for all parties”.

The Brazil international is still finding his feet at the north London club more than a year after joining for a reported £60million.

Spurs are yet to seal a real return on that investment, but it is believed they are not ready to part with the forward in the January window.

Ange Postecoglou’s side could consider huge-money offers from Saudi Arabia for Richarlison next summer if his poor form in from of goal continues.

He has managed two goals and three assists in 11 appearances across all competitions this term, almost eclipsing his output from the 2022-23 campaign.

The ex-Everton star notched three goals and four assists in 35 appearances across all competitions in his first season at the club.

According to FBRef, Richarlison earns a weekly wage of £90,000 on a contract running until June 2027.

He is currently on the treatment table after undergoing surgery on a long-standing groin injury.

Tottenham, who are also without James Maddison and Micky van de Ven through injury, sit fourth in the Premier League.

They are next in action against Aston Villa following the international break (26 November).
