'Awful', 'Deal with it' - Fans crucify Man City star Jack Grealish after display for England

Fans were far from impressed with Jack Grealish’s “painful” display for England in their 1-1 draw against North Macedonia on Monday night (20 November).

The Three Lions needed just a point to secure Pot 1 status for Euro 2024, but an insipid outing in the Balkans left England supporters once again frustrated.

A controversial penalty in the first half saw North Macedonia take a surprise lead that required Harry Kane to come off the bench and save the blushes despite his 59th-minute strike going down as an own goal.

Grealish himself had a goal chalked off for offside after some dazzling footwork from Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, but fans would be forgiven for forgetting they watched the game at all.

Those who didn’t switch the match off at halftime have taken to social media and many singled out the “half-trick pony” for his performance.

One fan slammed Grealish and claimed a different left-back option would stop him from dropping more stinkers.

This supporter singled out the Man City man’s blunted performance and claimed he lacked any cutting edge.

One fan was slightly fairer to the 28-year-old but warned him that he could lose out on regular game time for his nation.

This supporter destroyed the “£100million flop” and questioned what he brings to the sport- not just his country.

This fan reeled off each bad trait that “awful” Grealish showed against the 66th-ranked nation.

This fan wasted no time in sharing his feelings on the “very poor” Grealish.

One supporter pointed to his lack of opportunities at Man City and doesn’t think he’s good enough for the international stage.

This fan was let down by his lack of pace and the quality of his passing and ordered him to “deal with” the frequent tackling from the opposition.

In other news, Roman Abramovich could now land Chelsea with devastating blow.
