'Fantastic news for Celtic', 'Genuinely embarrassed' - Rangers fans react to Ryan Kent whispers

Rangers fans do not want to see “Sunday league-level” Ryan Kent back at Ibrox.

The 27-year-old is reportedly in talks with the Gers for a loan move this winter despite only joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce this summer.

Kent spent five seasons at Rangers before his contract expired in May, notching 33 goals and 56 assists in 218 appearances in all competitions.

The Ibrox faithful became critical of the winger in the closing stages of his Rangers career and the club did not offer him a new contract, but his new venture in the Super Lig has not gone to plan after just 559 minutes of football this season.

Fans have taken to social media to respond to the potential reunion, but most want Kent nowhere near Glasgow.

This fan suggested whispers of Kent’s return will be music to the ears of arch-rivals Celtic.

This supporter was far from impressed with his stats while at Rangers.

One fan insisted that he would not return to the club and warned others not to get caught up in nostalgia.

This supporter reeled off each poor trait Kent displayed for his former side.

One fan admitted he loved “Kenty” for his exploits in the Old Firm but maintained that Rangers must not look back.

Another supporter singled out his “stinking” attitude in the latter stages of his Ibrox tenure.

One fan claimed Kent has no love left for Rangers and a reunion would be “brainless”.

This fan would be “embarrassed” if Kent made his way back to Glasgow.

This fan suggested a move for Kent would be a step backwards for the club.
