Sources: Major update on Liverpool and Jarrod Bowen as talks open

West Ham are keen to sort out the future of talisman Jarrod Bowen amid long-term interest from Liverpool, sources have told Football Insider.

The winger, who is out of contract in June 2025, has long been widely linked with the Reds but a move is yet to materialise.

Bowen has become the main man for West Ham since the summer departure of Declan Rice to Arsenal.

It is believed talks are now underway with the England international about a new deal at the London Stadium.

The forward has started the new season in a rich vein of form, notching five goals and one assist in seven Premier League games.

He has played every minute for West Ham in the league, while being left out in the League Cup and Europa League to protect his fitness.

Bowen’s latest contribution came in the 2-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday (30 September), with his 24th-minute goal opening the scoring against the Blades.

Manager David Moyes has tipped the winger for a return to the England squad for the internationals later this month.

Bowen has so far made four appearances for the Three Lions, with his last outing coming in the Nations League against Hungary last year (2022).

He signed for West Ham from Championship side Hull City in January 2020 for a reported £22million.

The left-footer has gone on to score 45 goals in 165 games for the Irons, with his most memorable strike being the winner in the Europa Conference League final earlier this year.
