Sources: Wolves make move to sign Enso Gonzalez after scouts impressed

Wolves are exploring a move for Paraguayan attacker Enso Gonzalez,  sources have told Football Insider.

Gonzalez, 18, has emerged on the radar of Wolves after catching the eye for Libertad in his homeland.

The left-sided winger is regarded as a rising star in South America and Wolves scouts have been keeping tabs on his progress.

Gary O’Neil’s side are keen to steal a march on their rivals by making a move to bring him to Molineux before the close of the transfer window.

The Midlands outfit see Gonzalez as a potential star in the making and they are keen to add him to their attacking ranks.

Gonzalez has scored three goals and provided two assists in 23 league games for Libertad and his performances have alerted a number of clubs across Europe.

The Molineux outfit are expected to be busy in the final days of the transfer window as they look to strengthen O’Neil’s squad in all areas after being forced to sell a number of key players this summer.

Wolves have already lost Ruben Neves who joined Al Hilal in a deal worth £47million.

Nathan Collins, Conor Coady, Raul Jimenez, Ryan Giles and Hayao Kawabe were all moved on for a fee this summer whilst assets including Adama Traore and Joao left on free transfers.

Wolves finished last term 13th in the Premier League table last term and have won one out of their three Premier League games so far this season.
