Breaking: Richarlison stance on potentially quitting Tottenham revealed

Tottenham forward Richarlison is determined to remain in the Premier League amid links with a Saudi Pro League switch, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (17 November) that Spurs are not considering selling striker Richarlison, 26, in the January transfer window.

The Brazil international is reportedly a top target for the Saudi Pro League despite his poor goalscoring form since joining the Lilywhites last year (2022).

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Richarlison remains driven to become a success at Spurs and will not consider a move to the Middle East until later in his career.

The ex-Everton man is still finding his feet at the north London club more than a year after joining for a reported £60million.

Richarlison currently earns a reported wage of £90,000-a-week and is believed to be willing to turn down a money-spinning Saudi package to continue playing in England’s top flight.

He has managed two goals and three assists in 11 appearances across all competitions this term, almost eclipsing his output from the 2022-23 campaign.

The forward notched just three goals and four assists in 35 appearances across all competitions in his first season at the club.

He is currently on the treatment table after undergoing surgery on a long-standing groin injury.

Upon his return, Richarlison could face new competition for his spot on the left-hand side of Tottenham’s three-pronged attack.

Football Insider revealed on Saturday (18 November) that Juventus forward Samuel Iling-Junior is one of three options Spurs are considering ahead of the January window.
