Jack Grealish slammed by pundit amid Man City transfer update - 'really poor'

Paul Robinson has pointed the finger at Jack Grealish amid reported interest from Man City in AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one suggested Grealish, , must improve his “decision making and finishing” to stay in Pep Guardiola’s side.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, via City Extra (29 December), Man City are interested in signing Leao this year.

The Portugal international has been one of AC Milan’s standout performers in recent seasons.

The winger, who operates primarily from the left-hand side, has just 18 months left on his contract.

When asked by Football Insider what the arrival of another left-winger would mean for Jack Grealish, Robinson said: “I thought Grealish was really poor against Leeds.

“He had two or three opportunities to score in that game. It was not a polished display. He should be performing better.

“From what I know, Guardiola is not losing faith with him though. He knows, as we all do, that Grealish is a brilliant player.

“His decision making and finishing has been sloppy at times though. A player of his quality should be doing more.

“He is more than good enough to be at Man City. He has so much ability. We just need to see him effecting games more regularly and consistently.”

Grealish joined Man City from Aston Villa for a fee of £100million in August 2021.

The England international has contributed seven goals and seven assists in 59 appearances across all competitions.
