'Will be gone soon' - Rangers fans savage Sam Lammers after display in 2-1 win v Sparta Prague

Rangers fans have slammed Sam Lammers after yet another “forgettable” performance against Sparta Prague on Thursday night (9 November).

The Gers continued their six-game unbeaten run under Philippe Clement with a 2-1 win at Ibrox to put themselves in great stead for qualification to the knock-out stages of the Europa League.

Danilo notched a goal and an assist but could have earned himself a brace if his second was not chalked off for a foul in the build-up, while Todd Cantwell scored his first of the season.

Lammers earned his sixth-consecutive start under the new boss much to the annoyance of many Rangers fans who do not think he has been good enough.

Per SofaScore, the Dutchman had just 39 touches, 0.04 expected goals and just one shot – the Ibrox faithful were not happy that Clement kept him on for 96 minutes.

This fan just can’t see what Lammers brings to the table at Ibrox.

This fan urged Clement to stop playing the “ghost that is Sam Lammers” and suggested a replacement for the manager.

One fan claimed Lammers will likely depart the club soon and simply “lacks the quality” to make it at Rangers.

One fan offered Lammers a small compliment but also thinks the 26-year-old needs to be axed.

This fan joked that the club must be in a secret debt to Lammers otherwise he would not be getting so much game time.

One fan suggested that Rangers would have a better chance of winning every possible trophy with 10 men rather than 11 including Lammers.

One supporter was fuming that Lammers was nominated for Player Of The Match after once again being the worst performer.

This fan was stumped for answers on what Lammers brings to the side and urged Clement to drop him for Ross McCausland.
