Sources: Liverpool land £35m jackpot after striking triple deal

Commercial revenue at Liverpool is set to grow by £35million after they struck three new deals this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Reds expanded their sponsorship portfolio by partnering with Google, Peloton and UPS.

The Merseyside club announced their multi-year agreement with UPS on Monday (19 September), with the delivery service becoming the club’s new global logistics and shipping partner.

Liverpool posted commercial revenue of £247million in their latest set of financial accounts, although the club’s new deals are set to grow that figure.

Sources have told Football Insider that the Google Pixel, Peloton and UPS deals are worth a collective £35million per season.

All three deals are long-term agreements, securing Liverpool a boost to their commercial revenue for years to come.

On top of these three deals, Football Insider revealed that Liverpool are in advanced talks with Nike over an improved kit manufacturer deal.

The Nike deal is already worth around £70million per season to the Reds, but the renewed deal will grow that figure close to the £90million mark.

Liverpool’s new commercial strategy has largely targeted the United States, where the club already has a large following.

Their long-running partnership with Nike and collaboration with part-owner LeBron James has increased the club’s popularity in America, and Liverpool have moved quickly to capitalise on new interest by signing multiple sponsorship deals with US-based companies.

Liverpool will hope that their new commercial agreements help them catch up to the £322million commercial revenue posted by rivals Man City.
