Revealed: Man United hit the jackpot as new £180m+ deal agreed

Man United will earn over £180million from their new front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Qualcomm, sources have told Football Insider.

The Red Devils have been searching for a new shirt partner after it was revealed last season that TeamViewer wanted to exit their current £47million-a-year agreement.

The two parties reached an agreement in December that allowed United to buy back the rights to their front-of-shirt sponsorship.

United have since announced that they have struck a deal with Qualcomm to become their new front-of-shirt sponsor in an agreement worth £60million per season.

It is understood that the deal will run for at least three seasons, providing the Manchester club with a minimum £180million boost to their commercial and sponsorship revenue.

Qualcomm’s subsidiary, Snapdragon, is believed to be the company that will appear on United’s shirt from the 2024/25 season onwards.

United’s new shirt deal ranks them second in the Premier League in terms of value, with only Man City’s £67.5million Etihad Airways deal worth more per season.

Combined with the new Adidas deal signed this summer worth £90million-a-season, United’s commercial income is expected to grow to record-breaking levels from the 2024/25 season onwards.

TeamViewer will remain on the front of United’s shirt for the 2023/24 season before Qualcomm and Snapdragon replace them for next summer’s kit launch.

TeamViewer are set to remain connected to the club as a global partner, but will reduce their involvement after surrendering their front-of-shirt agreement.
