'I feel pain watching', 'Wolves might have ripped us off' - Man City fans 'can't believe' Matheus Nunes after display v Young Boys

Man City fans “can’t believe” Matheus Nunes’ “awful” performance in the Champions League against BSC Young Boys on Tuesday night (7 November).

The former Wolves man started this third European clash for Pep Guardiola at the Etihad and the Blues romped to a convincing 3-0 win to seal their spot in the knock-out stages.

Erling Haaland banged a brace with a penalty and a long-range strike, while Phil Foden scored after a slaloming run to continue their perfect start to the competition.

Fans were less than impressed with Nunes’ performance against the Swiss side. Per SofaScore, he lost possession 16 times, had no successful dribbles and was dribbled past twice.

He closed off his performance by missing a sitter. His display has left many City fans questioning if he’s good enough for this team.

This supporter slammed Nunes for failing to impress despite having plenty of chances to do so.

This fan simply couldn’t believe Nunes missed so many chances.

This fan claimed to feel pain when watching Nunes and Mateo Kovacic – another summer signing.

This fan questioned what Nunes was even good at and could not comprehend why he was at City.

This fan was let down by Nunes’ passing and suggested it meant he’s not a good fit for the squad.

Another supporter noted his lack of ability on the ball and determined it does not compare to the typical Man City standard.
