'This is outrageous' - Arsenal fans fume as controversial Bukayo Saka footage emerges

Arsenal fans are fuming after yet another controversial refereeing decision in their 3-1 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

After the drama of their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle, the Gunners were on the end of another contentious decision in the first half where their opening goal was denied.

Bukayo Saka was deemed to be pushing in the back Luca Koleosho during the build-up before a strange defensive mix-up from Vincent Kompany’s side saw centre-back Jordan Beyer nod the ball into his own net.

While Burnley’s blushes were only put on hold for a short time, eagle-eyed Gunners pointed to Joelinton’s similar push on Gabriel Magalhaes, which had much more force but was not considered illegal.

Fans have taken to social media in a fury to call out the officials and the inconsistencies that are “ruining the game”.

This fan was baffled by the game’s officiating and the consistent inconsistencies in Arsenal matches.

This fan suggested Saka’s contact was not enough to be a foul at all.

One fan accused the Premier League of corruption after the “outrageous” call.

This fan claimed that Mikel Arteta’s post-Newcastle rant is certainly justified after the latest incident of questionable decisions.

This supporter analysed the footage and determined that there was not enough force from the England international for it to be considered a foul.

One fan was eyeing up another Arteta rant and hoped the boss would seek some clarity on the situation.

This fan did not hold back on the criticism of the referees, calling them “cheats”.

One fan saw the ironic side to the incident.
