'Get out of my club' - Liverpool fans destroy 'shockingly poor' Konstantinos Tsimikas after display in 3-2 Toulouse defeat

Liverpool fans are calling out Konstantinos Tsimikas for his “shockingly poor” performance against Toulouse on Thursday night (9 November).

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds felt a bruising in France in the 3-2 defeat, and VAR drama at the death denied them a late leveller after Alexis Mac Allister was deemed to have committed handball before Jarell Quansah’s ‘equaliser’.

A second-half own goal and a Diogo Jota strike were not enough for Liverpool to secure knock-out qualification on the night, but Tsimikas’ display caught the eyes of fans for the wrong reasons.

Per SofaScore, the Greek international managed just one clearance, no key passes and lost possession ten times, but his worst offence was being dispossessed with ease in the lead-up to Aron Donnum’s opener.

After getting hauled off at half-time, Liverpool fans took to social media to share their reaction to the 27-year-old’s “very poor” outing.

This fan claimed the Reds “need” to sell Tsimikas and play academy players instead in Andy Robertson’s absence.

This fan was fairer and admitted he is normally a fan of the Greek, but his performance at the Stadium de Toulouse was “not him”.

One fan dubbed Tskimikas an “idiot” and hoped that he would never pull on the red jersey again.

This supporter put all the blame for the surprise defeat on Tsimikas as he is not up to Liverpool’s standard.

This fan was let down that Tsimikas didn’t take his opportunity.

This fan slammed Tsimikas for being “utterly poor” in Robertson’s absence and claimed he’d rather have Joe Gomez cover at left-back.

This fan is willing to let him depart or seemingly anything.

This supporter simply instructed Tsimikas to leave Anfield.
