'Worst in the shirt by far', 'Shocking' - Leeds fans slam 'awful' Ethan Ampadu display in 3-1 win v Swansea

Leeds United fans have taken aim at Ethan Ampadu after his “awful” performance against Swansea City on Wednesday night (29 November).

The Whites cruised to a 3-1 victory despite going behind in under a minute, but Joel Piroe, Georginio Rutter and Daniel James struck to ensure an expected win at Elland Road.

The Welshman has started every game in all competitions for Daniel Farke this season and he was once again named to start his 20th consecutive game.

However, fans are beginning to fear that his form is dropping after recent suspect performances despite conjuring an excellent cross-field pass to Rutter for the second goal.

His display against the Swans was no different and supporters have taken to social media to remind him that he is capable of far better.

This fan feels the 23-year-old needs to be rested after his recent drop in quality.

One supporter claimed he was cheap in possession and lacklustre with his passing despite his assist.

One fan is adamant that an “imposter” has taken Ampadu’s place in recent fixtures.

This fan simply questioned what was wrong with the midfielder.

This fan was also unimpressed with his display against Swansea.

This fan feels Ampadu let himself down in the first half as he was not reaching his typically excellent heights.

This fan called for Farke to haul him off the field.

One fan believed that he was Leeds’ worst performer.
