'Should be sold in January' - Rangers fans hammer Todd Cantwell after display in 1-1 v Aberdeen

Rangers fans have ripped into Todd Cantwell after his “dreadful” outing at Pittodrie on Sunday (26 November).

The 25-year-old started in Philippe Clement’s side but was hauled off the pitch in the 78th minute with the Gers 1-0 down thanks to an early Bojan Miovski strike.

Cantwell watched from the sidelines as James Tavernier saved his side’s blushes with a late penalty and kept Clement’s unbeaten run at eight in all competitions with a 1-1 draw.

The midfielder struggled to make an impact on the game and managed no shots, just 57 touches and lost possession 12 times amid fierce accusations of diving against the Dons.

Gers fans are losing their patience with Cantwell and have taken to social media to berate the “prima donna”.

This fan can’t see how Cantwell works in Clement’s side and feels he is more interested in his off-field antics.

This supporter feels he is being played in the wrong position and must move more centrally.

One fan wants Cantwell “binned” regardless of the limited options in his position.

This Gers fan has had enough of Cantwell and wants him shipped out of Ibrox this winter.

One fan suggested that he is often protected by the Rangers fanbase and called out his “dreadful” display.

This supporter claimed Cantwell focuses too much on flair rather than his positioning.

This fan wants Cantwell axed in favour of Ross McCausland, who has been hailed for his recent appearances.
