'Intentionally burning bridges', 'I wonder if his parent club was consulted' - Leeds fans stunned by Jack Harrison interview

Leeds fans are far from impressed with Jack Harrison after his recent comments on Everton’s points deduction.

The 27-year-old has started life at Goodison Park brightly after his summer loan from Elland Road earning one goal and three assists in the Premier League.

Whites fans were aggrieved that Harrison jumped ship to the Toffees after their relegation and many questioned his commitment to the club.

A recent interview with BBC Football Focus has resurrected these frustrations after he showed staunch commitment to Everton following their 10-point deduction for a Financial Fair Play breach.

Fans have taken to social media in response and many believe he will have a very tough time job winning Leeds supporters over if he shows his face at Elland Road again.

One fan claimed that the Englishman is purposefully burning bridges with the club – or perhaps he’s just stupid.

This fan noted that it was strange for Everton to choose a loan player to discuss such a pressing matter at the club.

This supporter simply dubbed Harrison the “wettest lettuce going”.

One fan has no time for Harrison after his comments and is happy to take a financial loss just to see him depart Elland Road for good.

Another fan predicted consecutive relegations for the forward.

One fan spotted the irony of his statement after being so non-committal to Leeds but seemingly right behind Everton amid their woes.

This supporter was not a fan of Harrison’s choice of clothing.

One fan is not over Harrison’s summer exit and sarcastically hailed his loyalty to Everton.
