'What did Klopp see?', 'Hendo every time' - Liverpool fans rip into Wataru Endo after display in 4-0 win v LASK

Liverpool fans did not like what they saw of Wataru Endo during their demolition of LASK on Thursday night (30 November).

The Japanese international started at the base of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield at Anfield and played the full 90 minutes of the 4-0 win to secure the Reds’ progression into the knockout rounds as Group E champions.

Goals from Luis Diaz, Mohammed Salah and Cody Gakpo saw Liverpool cruise to victory without many of their regular starters.

Endo has been a bit-part player in the Premier League this season, having made just two starts since his £16million move from Stuttgart, but despite featuring regularly in the Europa League, fans are not yet convinced.

They have taken to social media to react to his performance against the Austrian outfit and many just don’t think he is Liverpool-level quality.

One fan had nothing nice to say about Endo’s contribution to the side and slammed him for being “genuinely awful”.

This supporter spotted that the 30-year-old is often giving away needless fouls.

One fan was honest in his view of Endo and claimed he is just not up to scratch for what Liverpool need, especially in the Premier League.

One supporter suggested that Endo’s Anfield career may not be too long.

One fan would rather have Alexis Mac Allister in the midfield than Endo.

This fan was baffled that Klopp wanted to bring him to the club and reeled off all Endo’s faults.

One supporter was not shocked to see Endo underperforming.

This fan admitted that Endo is an acceptable option in the Europa League but maintained he is not good enough to play in “any real games”.
