Liverpool fans have raved about Ryan Gravenberch’s “sublime” performance against LASK on Thursday night (30 November).

The Reds cruised to a 4-0 win at Anfield thanks to goals from Luis Diaz, Mohammed Salah and a Cody Gakpo brace which confirmed their top-place finish in Group E of the Europa League.

Gravenberch has thrived in Europe, starting all but one game, but has been offered minimal minutes by Jurgen Klopp in the Premier League having made just three starts since his £32.4million arrival from Bayern Munich.

However, he caught the eyes of supporters once again with 88 per cent passing accuracy, one big chance created and three tackles against the Austrian outfit.

Some fans are adamant that they have finally found an adequate replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum after his “class” performance.
