Celtic should be 'worried' about Leeds United after source's Ange Postecoglou reveal - pundit

Paul Robinson has claimed Celtic should be “worried” about Ange Postecoglou’s future after Jesse Marsch was sacked by Leeds United.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Spurs and England number one said there is “a realistic possibility” of Leeds making an approach for Postecoglou.

Leeds are on the hunt for a manager after sacking Marsch on Monday (6 February).

Sources told Football Insider on 7 February that Celtic are confident Postecoglou will stay at the club until the end of the season.

The Australian manager is on a one-year rolling contract at Parkhead.

When asked by Football Insider for his reaction to the latest, Robinson said: “I’d be worried.

“It is a realistic possibility that Leeds go for him because of what he has done at Celtic. He has been brilliant since he has come in. His reputation has grown.

“You can never underestimate the draw of the Premier League. It is easy to forget just how far they were behind Rangers when he came in. It will be difficult to get him out of there now. He has the opportunity to win trophies again this year. Brendan Rodgers made the move though. It has happened before.

“It will be difficult to do but I would not rule it out. Leeds need a manager who will give an immediate impact. I think he would provide that. Leeds cannot wait until the summer though.”

In other news, Glasgow pundit has issued a ‘massive’ Celtic claim as Aaron Mooy footage emerges.
