'Wow', 'Really, really bad this' - Man United fans gobsmacked by Raphael Varane bust-up details

Man United fans can’t believe the fallout between Raphael Varane and Erik ten Hag.

The pair’s relationship has reportedly broken down after the Frenchman was dropped for the Manchester derby last month (29 October).

Ten Hag has opted to start Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire over the £41million centre-back, who has played just 18 minutes of football in United’s last four Premier League games.

While the manager wants to keep Varane until the summer, a report claims that German giants Bayern Munich have discussed a move internally but his huge wages could be a roadblock.

Fans have taken to social media to discuss the “impossible” scenario and many feel that the Dutchman is at fault.

This supporter claimed that ten Hag is not equipped to deal with “big players” which is preventing them from playing at their best at Old Trafford.

One fan has believed the former Ajax boss has been the problem for a while and that his fresh beef with Varane just proves his point.

One fan admitted that the World Cup winners’ injuries are a cause of frustration but can’t wrap his head around why ten Hag would drop him.

One fan feels this has all been blown out of proportion and that United seem to attract “drama”.

This fan pointed to Varane’s recent body language which could indicate that the reported fallout is true.

One fan slammed Varane himself calling him “self-entitled”.

Others claim Varane’s “clean history” and his good reputation means it is “impossible” for the breakdown to be his fault.

One fan claimed that, while Varane being benched is “annoying”, the 30-year-old is unreliable due to his frequent injuries.
