Sources: Brighton told £30m offer for Roony Bardghji likely to be accepted

FC Copenhagen are set to ask for a fee of around £30million for Brighton target Roony Bardghji, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (13 November) that the Seagulls are plotting a move for the 17-year-old.

Copenhagen are keen to keep the starlet at the Parken Stadium – but are aware of growing interest after his stunning form this season.

The Sweden Under-21 international is being monitored by a host of top European and Premier League clubs, as well as Brighton.

It is believed Copenhagen could demand a fee of around £30million for Bardghji – with add-ons based on his lofty potential likely to be inserted into any deal.

The winger raised his exposure with a late winner in the 4-3 victory against Champions League against Man United last week (8 November).

That was one of 11 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Copenhagen this season as they target another Danish Superliga title.

The winger, who has already racked up 65 senior appearances, is out of contract in the Danish capital in December 2025.

Brighton face competition for Bardghji’s signature from top sides across England and Europe, but are confident they can offer him a quicker path to the first team given their penchant for developing young talent.

The Seagulls have already helped the likes of Moises Caicedo, Evan Ferguson and Kaoru Mitoma become big names in the Premier League after allowing them to break through.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are playing Europa League football this season and sit eighth in the Premier League table.
